Plant Invasion Project

Plant Invasion with Crown Street: Crown Street is an adult mental health support centre based in Central Liverpool.

I worked with a group within this centre who took part in a huge community project entitled ‘Plant Invasion.’ This required the group to select and research a particular food and create a recipe and a performance piece using the food as an inspiration.

Over 30 groups took part in this project and all work was showcased in the Palm House, Sefton Park, Liverpool. It was a great day with a real carnival atmosphere.

I also worked with Wirral Youth Theatre and Marybone Youth Centre on this project to help them put their performances together.
